I began this book as soon as the first book,Katrina: The Beginning, ended. Elizabeth Loraine continues to grab the readers attention in the very beginning and keeps you turning the pages to find out if the characters will be able to finally be rid of some of the evil doers. I love how Ms. Loraine can make a character that the reader will love to despise. There are characters that have become more developed in this book. I enjoyed this book as much as the first. That is saying alot! The Protectors continues to provide the reader with action, suspense, and romance. If you enjoy a great time piece that adds romance, drama, and page turning action; then you will want to add The Protectors to your must read book shelf. Ofcourse, make sure you read Katrina, The Beginning first.

I loved the House of Night series, The Vampire Academy series, and Twilight Saga series but this is making into my top 10 best books I have ever read...this almost makes you want to jump into the books and be a character... I actually can put myself in that place but I never could with those others, I loved the series but my imagination runs away with this series..
This series has me caught in its web and my husband may never forgive me for purchasing them all in one go! Lol. I may have to wait until my birthday next month and the wait for the rest may just kill me! I honestly love this series. The storyline is memorable and action-packed and the characters are unforgettable. I love that it seems as though the story will never end!
Wow, Katrina has gone through some major changes in her life in a relatively short time. Fell in love, became a protector, got engaged, fought evil, and now starting a new journey.
I love reading how Katrina and the girls have really come to tearms with who and what they are. Also seeing who joins the good or evil clans. I was also very sad at the end!! I can't wait to see what happens in The Dark Prince. I am addicted to these books ) and just love the story line, lots of action and love for family and friends. There is so much magic in the writing that it is just lovely! I'm still a Quinn fan and hope he stays in the story through it all, but Damion really steped it up too. I am shocked and sad but you have to read the book to find out way )
First advice to everyone. If u purchased book one, do not buy book 2. The whole book is contained in book 1. I can't believe I just paid $3 for a book that I had already in its entirety. Don't make my mistake. On a good note, I'm reading my way through this series one at a time. Great story line!! Major grammatical errors, but if u can get past that u will see a very interesting story develop. The author leaves u constantly guessing who the spy is. It's nice that the author gives u a long preview of the next book in the series at the end of each book too. Gets u hooked so u have no choice but to buy the next in the series. Enjoy reading, I am.
Again, this was a great book by Ms. Loraine. I find her writing style very fast paced and I like that. The character's have grown into their powers and it's getting exciting. I love the addition of the guys and they help strengthen the Protectors. I'm anxious to see who is included in the group next. And there are Elves, I love elves!! My name does mean Elf Ruler....so I'm partial. ) Anyway, I'm very glad that this book is about more than just vampires and humans. It makes me think of Lord of the Rings and that's a great story to be compaired too. I'll soon get book 3 and I'm sure I won't be able to put it down like the first two.
This is an exceptional series. Their quest is long and hard, with something new always popping up so it always keeps you on your toes wondering what is next to come.
This is the second book in this series and is greatly entertaining. I am anxious to read the next in the series. It will surely get you hooked as I am.
